In this photo, I was shooting footage for a scicomm video about water and surface tension. I created a bubble solution with glycerin and made a giant bubble wand that allowed me to make 10 foot long bubbles!

I decided to participate because I'd like to show that as an undergrad, you may not have many opportunities to go out into the field. But, you can create opportunities for experiments and talking to others about science no matter where you are! My job as a fab lab instructor gives me the flexibility and creativity to make those moments for folks and, sometimes, I even get to sneak geology in!
