Steven DeCaluwe is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. His research focuses on modeling and experiments involving electrochemical energy storage devices such as fuel cells and batteries, trying to understand and control complex chemical phenomena for efficient and durable clean energy storage. He has a passion for open science, and for democratizing science and education to empower the science and engineering leaders of tomorrow.
