Sunset Over New York City

My name is Sarah Benish and I'm an ORISE postdoctoral fellow at the Environmental Protection Agency in Research Triangle Park, NC. My current research leverages the Community Multiscale Air Quality model (CMAQ) to estimate the United States's air quality burden over a time period with many emission reductions. In this photo, I am presenting my graduate school research about airborne observations of chlorofluorocarbons at the 2020 American Meteorological Society meeting in in Boston. After the meeting, my grandmother converted my cloth poster into a blanket!

I decided to participate in Science-A-Thon again this year because I think it's important to share all the interesting and important activities we do in and out of the lab.
