My name is Molly and I am a graduate student at Boise State University studying the geochronology and geochemistry of mantle xenoliths. In this picture I've got an assortment of highly metasomatized xenoliths I'm about to crush into sand-sized grains so that I can pick out zircon for chemical abrasion isotope dilution thermal ionization mass spectrometry.
