Hi! My name is Mandy Limiac. I used to manage a research lab at Purdue University and in this pic you can see me out doing field work in the winter (which included some ice breaking to get my samplers out of the stream). Now I’m the undergrad teaching lab manager in Ag & Bio Engineering and I get to help make sure the labs all run smoothly for professors, TAs and students. I’m expanding my experiences now to include more biological engineering and not just environmental. I’ve participated in Science-a-thon a few years now and I love spending the day sharing what all the different kinds of science can look like! This year will be different for me in my new role, but I’m still surrounded by science all the time!
