Currently in my second year of graduate school, I am working as a volunteer in a molecular neurogenetics lab. I am continuing work I began earlier this summer at The University of Colorado Boulder, involving cell line differentiation and rare variant expression. I had to step away from my graduate teaching assignment due to health reasons, but am thrilled to participate in Science-A-Thon and show that being disabled does not prevent you from doing science! It is for all.
