Christina

Hello! My name is Christina Wells and I am the Air Quality Protection Advisor for the Province of Nova Scotia in Canada. After gaining a BSc in Environmental Science and a PhD in Atmospheric/Marine Chemistry, both from the University of Plymouth in the UK, my career has taken me from Scottish Local Government, consultancy and teaching, through to my latest role, here in Canada. My role is desk based but I always enjoy a walk in the fresh coastal air! This photo was taken on the beautiful east coast of Scotland, near Stonehaven, but there are also plenty of beautiful areas to walk in in Nova Scotia. I decided to participate in Science-A-Thon because it sounds like a great way to spread the joy of a career in science!
