🏅 Christine

Sunset Over New York City

I am the Associate Director for Science at the Coopertative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the University of Colorado Boulder. In this role, I am part of a management team that runs a large scientific organization and supports the scientists/research of many. Prior to this administative position - I was a Scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research. I study the sources of air pollution to the atmosphere (particularly pollution from wildfires and other combustion sources around the world), and how those pollutants impact air quality, atmospheric composition, climate, and public health. I am also part of the leadership of the Earth Science Women's Network.
